Scott Ness is a gifted writer who uses his talent to share Gospel truths in Monday e-mails with us readers.  He shares ordinary experiences that make me smile.  He then expounds on the happening giving me a new insight into God’s plan for me.

For example, back in 2022, he told of the embosser his wife gave him to identify books from his personal library so that borrowers will see this visible mark that claims the book belongs to Scott.  In like manner, Scott points out to the reader that the same is true of our God.  “He lays a claim on you.  You have been stamped.  You have been branded.  You have been embossed.  You have been tattooed with the cross of Jesus”.  That really makes me smile!!!

I love Pastor Scott's weekly CUP article. I've shared it with family & friends and, it is something I look forward to each Monday morning. It amazes me how on many Monday mornings I feel like he has walked in my footsteps recently and knows exactly what I need to hear.  Pastor Scott's writings have a wonderful ability to make understanding scripture clearer for me and he continues to confirm to us all that God is there, He never leaves us and that we are loved more than we know.  I'm grateful for this weekly devotional.  It is a highlight to my week, builds strength and understanding in my faith journey and starts my week with a great lesson and a positive thought.
The With Your Cup weekly email touches on common struggles that we all face. But Pastor Scott never makes you feel 'less than'; instead the mini devotion provides the needed faith nudge to find the answer in Scripture (or at least a starting point to chew on throughout the week).
